Reiki
Reiki is an ancient Japanese technique for healing, which was rediscovered in the late 19th century by Dr. Mikao Usui. Having proved an effective form of healing it spread throughout Tibet, China & India before being introduced to the west in the mid 20th century.
Reiki is spiritual in nature but it is not bound by religion or spiritual beliefs. Reiki is for everyone and anyone.
Receiving Reiki promotes our bodies own healing process to help bring relief from any ailments. It is exceedingly relaxing and soothing.
During times of stress, Reiki will provide comfort and ease.
Reiki is also known as ‘Hands on healing’. There are times when the Reiki practitioner places their hands on the client, but there are areas of the body where the practitioner holds their hands over the body. Reiki energy also continues to work and heal even when the session is finished.
Reiki works exceedingly well as a complimentary therapy to traditional medicine.
